Art found Lorra Kurtz later in life. After moving from Texas to Georgia, she pursued interior design studies at The Atlanta College of Art, where her exposure to design sparked a passion for painting that quickly became her true calling.
Today, Lorra is represented by multiple galleries and has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States, including a museum exhibition. Her work has been featured at notable venues such as the Atlanta Swan House, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and several designer show homes.
What began as a creative exploration has evolved into a thriving art career. Lorraβs work has been featured on the television series Bargain Mansions and is included in corporate and private collections across the United States and abroad.
Inspired by her travels, nature, and the idea of home, Lorra creates mixed-media paintings that celebrate connection, beauty, hope, and joy. When she isn't in the studio, she can often be found exploring new destinations, gathering inspiration from the colors, cultures, and landscapes that inform her work.
