Connecting Artists Worldwide: Elizabeth Bessant’s Journey

When Brett Campbell first contacted me via Instagram to purchase one of my artworks, I never imagined that just two years later he would reconnect with an entirely different proposal – this time as the owner of a new gallery. He was preparing to open a gallery in New Orleans and asked if he could represent my work there. Having followed Brett on Instagram for a couple of years, I already felt I knew him. More importantly, I trusted him with my artwork, and I was delighted to accept.

On the 10 of March, 2026, Brett’s vision became a reality when Wine Art Gallery officially opened its doors in New Orleans. I was incredibly proud to be included in the opening exhibition alongside such a wonderful selection of artists. The story became even more exciting just three weeks later when Brett contacted me with some wonderful news: all four of my bird paintings had sold.

What began with a simple Instagram message in 2024 has grown into a rewarding professional relationship and an exciting new chapter for my work in the United States.
