FEATURED EXHIBITION: SWEET CREATURES
From March 7 through April 7, 2026, Wine Art Gallery will present Sweet Creatures, a featured exhibition showcasing the work of mixed-media artist Karen Schremmer. Introduced during the gallery’s Grand Opening on March 7, the exhibition invites guests into a vibrant and emotionally engaging world where color, texture, and imagination come together.
Karen Schremmer’s work blends painting, collage, photography, and intricate crystal detailing, often finished with layers of resin and mirrors that interact with light and movement. Influenced by pop culture, nature, and Florida’s vibrant energy, her pieces are bold, expressive, and full of life.
MEET THE ARTIST
Guests attending the opening evening will have the opportunity to experience Karen’s work in person and learn more about the inspiration behind her creative process. Her work celebrates color as a powerful emotional language, transforming everyday inspiration into layered, multidimensional compositions.
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Painting from the University of South Florida and has spent years developing a distinctive mixed-media style that merges traditional techniques with contemporary experimentation.
A CELEBRATION OF COLOR AND JOY
At the heart of Karen’s work is the belief that happiness can be a choice. Some pieces tell stories, while others simply exist to evoke a feeling. Whether vibrant and energetic or quiet and reflective, each piece invites viewers to experience moments of warmth, joy, and connection.
Sweet Creatures sets the tone for Wine Art Gallery’s vision of creating immersive exhibitions that bring artists and the community together through meaningful artistic experiences.
